Women's Day program was held at the Deraniyagala Divisional Secretariat on the 26th of March 2019 under the theme of "Women of Wisdom - a sweet world".
The keynote address was delivered by Senior Nursing Officer Sepali Athukorala at the Sri Jayewardenepura Hospital. It was titled as to create a better family environment through the minimization of marital harmful to the woman, the family and the society.
Chaminda Pradeep Gunasena, Small Business Development Officer of Bulathkohupitiya Divisional Secretariat, also spoke on the occasion under the title of developing the family economy through the development of the attitude of women towards the development of a strong family.
The event was attended by 181 members of the Deraniyagala Regional Women's Federation. The event was decorated with several aesthetic creations.
