According to His Excellency the President's Vision of Prosperity Policy Statement, In order to realize the concept of 'Drug Free Nation - A Prosperous Country' the National Board for the Control of Dangerous Drugs and the Deraniyagala Divisional Secretariat launched the Dangerous Drug Prevention leaflet distribution Campaign held within the division on 11th January 2022.
The 1927 hotline was introduced to help drug addicts get rid of their addictions.
