Mr. Ranjith Gunawardena who has been has been promoted to the post of Administrative Grama Niladhari  and transferred to the Yatiyantota Divisional Secretariat, after serving the excellent service as a Grama Niladhari for nearly 30 years for  the people of Deraniyagala and the staff. Congratulations to you from entire staff !!!

The Deraniyagala Divisional Secretariat conducted an all-night Pirith chanting Ceremony on 13 June, 2019, and Alms giving held for the monks on following day.

  

The Deraniyagala Divisional Literary Festival was held on 19th September, 2019 at the Ke / Dehi / Kosgahakanda Maha Vidyalaya.

   

The Sinhala and Tamil New Year Festival in Deraniyagala Divisional Secretariat area was held on April 20, 2019 at the Playground of Sirisman National School, Deraniyagala.
